My Counseling Philosophy
My counseling philosophy is rooted in partnership, compassion and whole-person care. I believe symptoms are signals- not flaws- and that true healing happens when we uncover and address the root causes driving hormone and metabolic imbalances at the cellular level. I take a collaborative, non-judgmental approach where you feel heard, understood and empowered, not prescribed-to, dismissed or restricted.
By blending evidence-based nutrition with functional medicine principles, I create individualized, sustainable strategies that support your physiology, lifestyle and relationship with food- so you can build lasting wellness with confidence and clarity. Consistency and hard work are needed to see real change, and I will be your biggest cheerleader every step of the way.
My food philosophy is rooted in the belief that food is powerful medicine- but it should also be enjoyable, flexible and sustainable. With an integrative and functional lens, I use food strategically to support hormone balance, metabolic health, blood sugar regulation, and inflammation. At the same time, I embrace an “all foods fit” approach, recognizing that nourishment includes both physiological and emotional well-being. Rather than rigid rules or restriction, I help women build a balanced, personalized way of eating that supports their biology, honors their lifestyle, and fosters a confident relationship with food.
Hey, I’m Stef!
I am a New York City based Women’s Health Integrative & Functional Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Personal Trainer
After starting off in the fashion industry, I decided that my true passion was in nutrition, wellness and helping others feel their best. So, I hit the books and went back to school to get my RDN license and Master’s Degree. While completing my Dietetic Internship and working in the Northwell Health system, I helped treat hundreds of patients with a wide range of chronic diseases, through proper nutrition, education and guidance. It was in this setting that I developed an interest in providing individualized holistic counseling from an integrative and functional perspective- focusing more on addressing the “why” behind symptoms instead of just managing the symptoms.
